Slow growing cushion plant

Simulation of N-deposition in a glacier forefield at 2500 m in the Alps.

Small amounts of N-deposition can induce massive biomass increment both in late successional as well as in pioneer vegetation such as here in a glacier forefield. However, the response is due to a few vigorously growing species, with others being overgrown and outcompeted. What would you expect to happen to this slow growing cushion plant (blue frame) in the long term?
